Listen here, there are many reasons you could read and enjoy or even comprehend this book! Do you enjoy hearing stories told of overcoming adversity? How nothing can get someone down your age... how strength and courage can lead to success in life, no matter how abusive how tough how hard all the challenges in your life are. The main character Junior the protagonist of this story has the drive to succeed and when he is face-to-face with overwhelming challenges he makes humor of it. Creates jokes of these hard situations.
if you like sports this would also be a good story to read! If you're into young love and maybe you have a girl of interest... This story is extremely relatable Junior meets a girl Penelope. She is prettiest girl in all of Rearden high school. He took her to prom. He also makes friends at a school where no one gives him the time of day. it's just a great story and very inspirational he, becomes one of the best basketball players at his high school. He makes varsity his freshman year. If you're into competitive sports, a love story, some heartbreak and the success of the young adult this is a story for you.
